Northbound Highway 400 at the Severn River. The no parking sign on the right there is a relic from the days when the bridge carried both directions of old Highway 69, one lane per direction. Today, over 20 years since the highway was widened and re-numbered, it sits facing away from traffic, forgotten, rusted, and faded.
I like this little reminder of the way the road was before, back how I remember it when I was growing up.
