Sign on Highway 35/115 denoting the location where the 407 extension will come in. Currently that’s slated to happen by 2020, when the 407 will offer a northern bypass of the communities in southern Durham Region.

Exit’s coming up, better move over!
Reassurance sign along west bound 401. Given the proximity of the Hwy 403 interchange and traffic coming in there it makes some sense, but it is still a rather excessive warning.

Looking north along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, approaching the MD-197 exit. The Parkway is a pleasure to drive- running through forested areas, with stone and wood guiderails and no transports. A definite pleasure compared to the parallel I-95, and more convenient when accessing DC from BWI Airport.
This photo also shows the unique signage along the Parkway, using unconventional fonts and a white-on-brown colour scheme. Certainly a unique road.

Protest sign in Shakespeare on Highway 7/8. One of the proposals for the upgrades to to that road called for it to be widened through the community. Needless to say there was substantial opposition to that. The most recent preferred option I’ve seen has the town bypassed to the south, so seemingly the opposition were able to sway MTO on that.

A quick fix for a route redesignation? Oxford County took the cheapest way out when they needed to change this sign for former Highway 2. thankfully this sign, which was on former Highway 53 approaching 2 at Eastwood, has been replaced by a properly designed one.

Given the control cities you could describe this as Ontario’s most “European” reassurance sign. Highway 5 westbound, leaving the Hwy 6 junction at Clappison’s Corners.

For those familiar with the whole “Clearview vs. Highway Gothic” font debate, this should provide a laugh. This is on Highway 3, near Tillsonburg.
